Great Service today. I preached the second message of our InMotion Series... "Are You Moved by the Story?" Awesome presence of GOD!!!! There was such energy and excitement in the service today. That was in part due to Micheal and the youth band...we have to come up with a name for these guys. In any event thanks Brenda, Michael, Andrew, Shawn, Jeremy, Dave and every other volutneer who effect peoples lives every week. Lifepoint is doing LIFE together. We had two people baptized, which in my opinion is the ultimate sign of a growing church. It is great to see people's lives changed. We also had eight people go through the MUG Shot class after the service. The response was great. I always love talking about our vision and what God has for the future of Lifepoint. It stirs me everytime. God is truly adding people every week. I am just Glad to be along for the ride. Stay PLUGGED in... Passionately Living Under God's Grace Every Day.

Jeremy and I had a great planning meeting today about our upcoming sermon series including our Easter Message. Only seven weeks away. WOW! It is going to rock. This one is going to be a home run, let's pack the house. I'm telling you now, be thinking about everyone you are going to invite, because it will be life changing. I love the creativity that flows in our meetings. Awesome job! Today we hit the bullseye. Our next series leading up to Easter is "InMotion". More to come....

Great Service yesterday. We did several things that gave people a reason to never come back. I mean if you could make it through the cussing on the NFL Highlight films that were playing before the service (always have some one preview your DVD's), Jeremy pulling off his sweat pants (fortunately he did have athletic shorts on)... All that aside the "Halftime" message was tremendous. (Jeremy, great job on the video's) I know that peoples lives were changed, and we had a great prayer time at the end of service...something we don't normally do, at least the way we did it. I applaud those of you who made the courageous step to stand and let others pray for you. If we are going to win the game of life we have to learn to do it together. It's awesome to see all the new young people coming. Thanks volunteers for all your work. I love LIFEPOINT.

Had a great planning, leadership stuff, espresso, and mexican food meeting with Jeremy yesterday. It was the real smorgasbord. I think we are both A.D.D. There is a biblical principal that takes place when we get together with other people - iron sharpens iron. Sparks can fly i.e. we get a little crazy. I know that I am better because God has surrounded me with great people. This next series coming up - "Living in the Margins" is going to be awesome. I can't wait. And look out Easter, I am stoked about the "What if?" series. Oh, and after that series "stuck". I especially like the upside turtle for the promo material. Doing church with other people is the real deal. I can't imagine doing it without them. Thanks Jeremy for your leadership (it's beyond your years). And most importantly thanks for your friendship.

I had a great idea for a sermon series "Well"... Think about all the stuff in the bible that happened at a well. The first one that comes to mind is Jesus' dialogue with the women at the "well"... then there is Issac's "well", you know the one the Philistines kept filling with sand, because they envied his success. It's interesting when you read the story Issac's servant took sand out, they never threw sand at the enemy. Now there is a message... If you get any ideas about wells, let me know. Oh "Well"...

I was visiting with a good friend discussing the importance of experienceing the presence of God in our lives. The church he attends is an emergent, growing church that truly is fulfilling the great commission, loving God and loving people. In the weekend service His Pastor boldly bumped off a tremendous series He was in (I truly admire someone who is willing to get off the beaten path) to minister a message that he felt God wanted him to say. He even did something he had never done before, and by his own admission may never do again, in his approach to ministering to people during the service. The result was tremendous and peoples lives were truly changed. The people experienced God. I guess the ironic thing to me is so many churchs that claim to be open to a move of God's spirit, rarely have one. It's easy to think we know what a spirit-filled service should look like. In fact if we're not careful we'll manufacture one. The problem is we can't begin to see the movement of God on individual's hearts. I appreicate a pastor who's willing to change things up under God's direction. If we are going to experience church in a refreshing way, we must be open to the freshness of God. We have to break out of rut church. I am thankful for Lifepoint Church. As Pastor, my endeavor is that every weekend we experience God in a refreshing way.

I was visiting with a my good friend Gary this evening from Colorado. When you're going through stuff in life it's good to know others are with you. The thing I appreciate about Gary is he always listens, cares, and prays with me. Gary like me has a lot of change going on in his life right now. Change can be really scary, but "endings are new beginnings if you allow them to be." We're going to make it Gary. Thanks for being the friend you've always been and have fun in Maui.
